This will be my first Valentine's Day at Victoria Park Flower Studio. I have heard stories of years past. Talks of lines around the block. Having to shut down wire ins because it was to much to bare. People quitting and walking out because the pressure was to grand! Having to much of one flower and not enough of the other; the stories can go on and on. How does a business that looks forward to this holiday prepare for it? By reviewing years past and making a pact not to let it get to us. We are looking for delivery drivers now, we have a full team in the office and two more designers on the bench. We are pricing plants and flowers and getting all our promotions in order so we can guesstimate how much foot traffic to expect. We can not prepare for every little thing but as long as we cover the major stuff like inventory, delivery and personal peace of mind. We can show up for our customers and have a holiday that is exactly what it was intended to be; a celebration of love.
