The theme of Easter, Spring and this season is letting go of old, dead things and embracing new life and new joys and new happiness. I can not count how many Easter arrangements are going out with loving cards of well wishes and blessings. But I know no family is perfect and even if the messages seem flawless, it could be coming from parents trying to mend a relationship with their child. Children who are out of state and are sending flowers to make up for the fact that they won't be home for Easter again. Next to Christmas; Easter is the next biggest holiday for celebrating, getting together and participating in family traditions. The theme is all about new and when I see the fact that people are still aware of this season and make it a point to connect with family no matter where they are; it warms my heart. Tulips are in bloom. Spring colors are taking over and in the spirit of Easter; I do hope everyone gets a chance to send a flower, send a card, send a text wishing someone a "Happy Easter", and let the old ideas and old thinking pass away with the Winter and enter the Spring renewed and ready to being again. Like the Tulip that only blooms in it's season; there is a season for everything.
