This road trip stemmed from a simple request, "We need to go pick up peonies for a wedding." I volunteered for the ride and I am so grateful I did. When I arrived at Jet Fresh in Miami I was greeted by Casey their son who gave me a first hand tour of only a part of their facility. I was in awe of all the flowers! There is a room filled to the brim of everlasting flowers and in every color you can imagine. Through the room you enter a hallway like one out of a dear grandmothers house. It has photos of children learning to ride bikes and also trips to foreign countries to check out flowers and if you look closely you can see the five sons all together as brothers waiting to grow up into this family owned and operated business. As we walked into a large warehouse I was told to put on a coat because it gets cold and boy did it. They keep the flowers in a temperature of 32 degrees and the smell is amazing! Roses in every color, foliage beyond belief and hydrangeas that I did not know even existed! Want to see the pictures? Check out our Facebook page; it is awesome.
