The Bonnet House is hosting the opening night of the Impressions : The New Aesthetic and Victoria Park Flower Studio was asked to supply the flowers. Steven and Joe came up with more than flowers. They brought out marbles, spray paint, glue and water; turning palm leaves into baby discos and using stems of veronica like little arms reaching out into the deep world of installations and beyond. The way this bowl was created is remarkable. The palm leaves were painted, dried and placed in this fish bowl with the classic wrapping technique. Hot pink Gerbera and Veronica spring out of it and reach for the stars while being supported by baby pink Alstromeria and a eye catching pink Rose. If you find yourself at this extravagant affair tonight; take pictures. You will want to remember this art forever.
